FROM FARRELL TO NEBRASKA: DANNY ODEM MAKES HIS MARK
Former Farrell standout Danny Odem is now competing at the Division I level with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the true freshman made his presence felt in Week 1 against the Ohio Bobcats.
Odem got his snaps and showed exactly why so many people around Western Pennsylvania have been watching his journey. He was locking down wide receivers and showing the confidence and physicality you want to see from a young defensive back.
Odem is one of the best young athletes coming out of Western Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania in general, and now he’s getting the opportunity to showcase his ability on a Division I stage.
What makes his story even more impressive is the work he puts in behind the scenes. This true freshman puts the work in, earns his opportunities and continues to show that he belongs.
And while he’s making plays at Nebraska, Danny Odem is making big noise for Farrell back home. His journey from Farrell to Division I football is something the local community can be proud of, and we’ll be keeping an eye on him as the season continues.
From Farrell to Nebraska — Danny Odem is just getting started. 🏈
