The Architect of the Tiger Renaissance: Lou Brown’s Winning Blueprint at Sharon

Published on September 9, 2026 at 8:39 PM

The Sharon Tigers have become one of the more consistent programs in District 10 under head coach Louis “Lou” Brown.

Since taking over before the 2022-23 season, Brown has built an impressive 51-25 varsity record, including a 20-win season, a District 10 championship, and a run to the PIAA State Quarterfinals.

Now entering his fourth season, the Tigers have plenty to be excited about.

Cedrick Boyd returns after earning Class 4A All-State Third Team honors, while Damar Johnson brings another talented playmaker to the backcourt. Players like Heath Miller, Cyleim Smith and Ghafir Lampkins also give Sharon valuable returning experience.

After last season ended in the state playoffs, the Tigers are coming back with something to prove.

Could this be the year Sharon makes its biggest run yet? 🏀
